What is Swing Check Valve ?
The opening and closing mode of the swing check valve disc is rotation rather than left and right movement. The fluid passage direction must be on the side that can impact the disc to rotate. The closing part of the swing check valve is a disc or disk equivalent to the pipe diameter, suspended in the valve body. The disc opens under the action of fluid force when the fluid flows in the positive direction, and closes under the influence of weight and backflow fluid pressure when the working pressure decreases.

The characteristics of swing check valve

The swing check valve is usually equipped with an auxiliary spring and a heavy hammer structure to improve the sealing of the pipeline and ensure a good sealing effect under low pressure conditions. At the same time, a damping structure is also set on the valve disc to avoid the water hammer phenomenon caused by the sudden closing of the valve disc when the medium flows in the pipeline, thereby reducing the wear of the valve seat.

The internal rocker arm swing structure is adopted. All the opening and closing parts of the valve are installed inside the valve body and do not penetrate the valve body. Except for the sealing gasket or sealing ring at the middle flange, there is no external leakage point as a whole, which eliminates the possibility of valve leakage.

The swing check valve rocker arm and valve disc connection adopts a spherical connection structure, which makes the valve disc have a certain degree of freedom within the range of 360° and has appropriate micro-position compensation.

The sealing surface of the disc and seat of the swing check valve is made of stellite cobalt-based hard alloy surfacing, which is wear-resistant, high-temperature resistant, has good anti-scratch performance and long service life.
